Flooding around Waitaki Bridge in South Canterbury

Attribute to a Police spokesperson   There's deep flooding around Waitaki Bridge, 200 metres south of Oamaru Airport.   There are no diversions in place and motorists are advised to avoid travelling in the area or delay travel if possible.   Local councils and emergency services are responding to incidents as required.     ENDS  Issued by Police Media Centre
