Missing person Cheyniah Hawkins

Canterbury Police are appealing for 17 year old Cheyniah Hawkins or anyone who has seen her to contact Police.  Cheyniah has gone missing from a Spreydon address and was last seen at 12.30pm yesterday (3 September 2015).

Acting Senior Sergeant John Armstrong says “Cheyniah has red coloured hair and was wearing a navy blue wool coat when she was last seen.  It is not known where she may have been heading or what she is currently wearing.  ”

“It is out of character for Cheyniah to go this long without contacting a member of her family and Police have concerns for her safety.  If Cheyniah is with you please contact Police by calling 111 so that we can speak to her on the phone and confirm she is safe” explained Acting Senior Sergeant Armstrong.  “If you have any information that may help us locate Cheyniah please call Police on 111 straight away”

The attached photograph has been provided by Cheyniah’s family.

This information has also been posted on the Canterbury Police Facebook page.
