State Highway 27 is temporarily closed just north of Tirau Golf Club after a collision involving a car and a truck this morning.
Emergency services were called to the scene between Frances Street and MacMillan Road after being notified at about 11.40am. Indications are that there are moderate injuries.
Travel delays should be expected.
