Otago Coastal Search and Rescue had an opportunity to utilise the Otago branch of Jet Boating NZ’s boats on a recent training day on the Taieri River. The team took part in simulated water rescues using the boats, which are owned by local members of Jet Boating NZ who offer their resources to Police SAR teams voluntarily.
