Missing persons - Police Manual chapter

This chapter outlines how to take appropriate and effective action into reports of missing persons; how to ensure that the reporting standards and performance of missing person investigations are consistent; and how to efficiently record details of long-term missing persons. Some parts of this chapter have been considered not appropriate for release and, if requested, would be withheld under the Official Information Act 1982 (the Act). In this chapter, the relevant sections of the Act that would apply have been identified.
