Proactive Release Prohibition of Gang Insignia in Government Premises Amendment Regulations 2020

On 24 April 2020 the Minister of Police Hon Stuart Nash announced that the Prohibition of Gang Insignia in Government Premises Regulations 2018 would be amended to identify the group known as the Mongols Motorcycle Club as a “gang” for the purposes of the Prohibition of Gang Insignia in Government Premises Act 2013.
The following paper was provided to the Cabinet Legislation Committee (LEG) for authorisation to submit the Prohibition of Gang Insignia in Government Premises Amendment Regulations 2020 to the Executive Council.
