No, a contractor does not meet New Zealand Police Vetting Service criteria to become an approved agency. Under the Education and Training Act 2020 it is the responsibility of the school to vet any persons who will be on school grounds during business hours. For further information, please refer to the Ministry of Education and search for “Police vet”.
