Arrest in relation to Kawerau stabbing

A 24-year-old man has been arrested and charged in relation to a stabbing in Kawerau on 10 October.   He is scheduled to appear in Rotorua District Court today, 5 November, on a charge of wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.   The victim sustained critical injuries and remains in hospital.   ENDS   Issued by Police Media Centre.
