Name release: Whanganui River death

Police can now name the man who died in the Whanganui River on 4 August.   He was Ruka Rangiahuta Broughton (Junior), aged 31, of Whanganui.   Our thoughts are with his whānau at this very difficult time.   Mr Broughton's death will be referred to the Coroner.   ENDS   Issued by Police Media Centre.
