Emergency services are at the scene of a serious crash involving a car and freight train near Invercargill.
The crash occurred about 1.20pm, near the intersection of East Road (State Highway 1) and Mill Road South.
Traffic management is in place, and motorists are advised to expect delays while emergency services work at the scene.
