Motorists, especially those of high sided vehicles - such as caravans and trucks, are urged to take extra care as high winds hit Central Hawke's Bay.
Police are currently in attendance at a two-vehicle crash on the Waipawa Bridge, Waipawa, where a caravan has blown over and hit a car.
Motorists in the Central Hawke's Bay are asked to take care and drive to the conditions, and high sided vehicles should consider delaying travel until winds subside.
