Man attacked in Te Atatu

Police were called to a Te Atatu motel this afternoon following an attack with a meat cleaver on a 40-yr old man.



The victim sustained serious injuries and is currently in surgery.

A 60-year-old man is helping Police with their inquiries.



Police are carrying out scene investigations with ESR this afternoon.
