Deaths not suspicious

The post mortem examinations of two people, whose bodies were discovered in a house in Fendalton yesterday, have taken place this morning.

Detective Senior Sergeant Colin DALZELL says that police are not treating the deaths as suspicious.

&#34The post mortems were carried out this morning. The identification of the two people, the cause and the timing of their deaths, is now a matter for the Coroner,&#34 he says.

Next of kin have not yet been notified.

Police do not intend to release further details of the deceased persons.

The Coroner Mr Richard McELREA, has indicated that he will hold an inquest at the earliest date possible, yet to be set. Media will be advised.
