Charges after arson attacks on West Auckland churches

Waitakere CIB has been investigating arson attacks on three West Auckland churches that occurred in late August.



Four males have been arrested and charged with the attacks on the churches, Liston College chapel, Titirangi Baptist and Henderson Baptist.



Molotov cocktails were thrown into the churches causing minor to moderate damage.



In an unrelated case:

Four juveniles have been referred to Youth Aid in relation to the burglary/arson and intentional damage on two separate occasions of Birdwood School.
