Guilty plea by woman who supplied drugs that killed two young men

A woman who supplied methadone that killed two young men has today plead guilty in the Auckland District Court.

On Sunday 30 November 2003, 23 year old, Charlie Laupua and 15 year old, Brian Rangi were found dead in the Laupua’s family garage in Glen Innes.

Post-mortem examinations confirmed that both had died as a result of a Methadone overdose.

18 year old, Adreena Christine Edwards was charged with four counts of Supplying a Class B Drug to Laupua, Rangi and a third man.

Edwards was remanded in custody for sentence which is set down for 2.15 pm 22 October, 2004 at the Auckland District Court.
