City man helping Police

1 min read

Members of the Avondale CIB are currently speaking with a 29 year-old man about his possible involvement in a series of bank robberies in and around Auckland City over the past six months.

Publicity of security surveillance pictures of a man Police wanted to speak to in relation to the bank robberies generated a number of calls to investigators last night and this morning.

The callers nominated the same man and Police executed search warrants at a city address late this morning.

No arrests have been made today in connection with the robberies.
