Christchurch police have recovered some jewellery they believe to have been stolen. There is a gold bracelet and several rings.

They also have a 120GB iPod, silver in colour with a transparent rubber skin that is believed stolen. The music saved in the iPod appears to be primarily Indian or similar. The name in the properties is "Amruta".

Anyone who recognizes these items as belonging to them is asked to contact Constable Aaron Campbell, phone 3637958.

Where police can identify items as stolen and return them to their owners, further charges can be laid against offenders.
