Fire is not believed to be suspicious

1 min read

The examination of a house in Hulke Street, Foxton that was subject to a fire that claimed two lives, is now complete.

Following that examination, police are now satisfied that the fire is not suspicious. The fire appears to have started in the kitchen dining area and at this stage the most likely cause is unattended cooking on the stove-top.
