King Kong crowd no problem for police

1 min read

An estimated 20,000 people packed into Courtenay Place for the New Zealand premiere of King Kong tonight caused no problems for police.

Although the inner city was busy with fans hoping to catch a glimpse of Peter Jackson and the stars, the crowd was very well behaved.

One man was arrested for disorderly behaviour. Two other people were treated by medical staff at the scene after collapsing in the heat and the crush.
