Missing man found

1 min read

A Hamilton man reported missing by his family is safe and well and living in Northland.

The family of Howard Withers reported him missing after he was last seen in December last year heading to Northland to spend Christmas with a female friend. He has not been seen or heard of since.

Sergeant Dave Newland of Hamilton police says that as a result of media publicity about Mr Withers, police received several phone calls from people in Northland. Police were yesterday able to confirm Mr Withers was living in the area and was safe and well.

Mr Withers has now contacted his family and police have no further concerns for him.
