Waikato Police are becomingly increasingly concerned about the safety of a Ngaruawahia man who has not been seen for a week.

Senior Constable Norm McIntosh of the Ngaruawahia Police said John Waka GRAHAM, 48, was last seen driving off in his green 2003 model Ford Falcon car, registration number BMB893 and his family had grave concerns for his well being.

"We would like to speak to anyone who has had recent contact with John; he is described as a male Maori of medium to solid build, about 182cm tall with a bald head.

"He is described as having a limp on his right leg due to a recent operation and the longer he remains unaccounted for the greater the concerns of both Police and his family become."

Mr McIntosh said anyone who had been in contact with Mr GRAHAM was asked to contact the Ngaruawahia Police Station on 07 8248199.
