Cambridge Police are seeking the public's assistance in locating a man wanted in relation to a large amount of drugs found at a rural property outside the town yesterday.
Sergeant Murray Van Der Veeken of the Cambridge Police said officers went to a Swayne Rd property with a search warrant where they found 15kgs of good quality cannabis head drying in a farm shed.
"There was various amounts of cannabis found but by far the largest amount was found drying in a 4x4 vehicle parked in the shed.
"As a result of this we are actively seeking a person believed to be involved in the cultivation of the cannabis and are appealing for information on the whereabouts of 37-year-old Cambridge man, Michael James BELL."
Mr Van Der Veeken said BELL was described as a male Caucasian of medium to thin build and about 180cm tall.
"Bell has an extensive criminal history and we believe he is actively avoiding Police."
