A 72 year old man from Adelaide in Australia has died as a result of a single vehicle crash on Friday evening about 20km south of Fox Glacier.

The accident was discovered by a passing motorist about midnight and the man was found deceased. He was the sol occupant of the vehicle.

Senior Sergeant Crawford said road conditions at the time were wet, but not icy.
