Paeroa homicide inquiry update

Waikato Police continue to focus their investigation on the scene at Mykono's Pizzas in Paeroa.

Detective Senior Sergeant Michael Whitehead said that the scene examination was continuing and may take another two days to complete:

"The investigation team are still working to profile and background Mr Jordan Voudouris to gain an understanding of his habits and routines. Friends, employees and patrons have been able to assist us with this" said Mr Whitehead.

"We are also getting good assistance from the Paeroa community.

"The Police are also working with local businesses that were open on Sunday night to identify people who were out and about who may be able to help reconstruct activity in the town that night.

"The investigation team encourage anyone who may have information to contact us."

Mr Whitehead said that Police particularly want to speak to anyone who was around the Paeroa town centre between 10 p.m. on the evening of Sunday the 17th and 6 a.m. on Monday the 18th.
