Police can now confirm the name of the woman who died in a collision on Sunday 16, December 2012, State Highway 57, Arapaepae Road, Levin.
Jacqueline Linda Carter aged 56, from Levin, was a passenger in the Nissan vehicle.
A south-bound Mitsubishi motor vehicle collided head-on with a north-bound Nissan motor vehicle. A following north-bound Mazda motor vehicle swerved to try and avoid the initial collision however this vehicle also collided with the Nissan vehicle.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
