Christchurch police are issuing the following statement on behalf of the families of Lucille and Guy Scollay.
"We are dealing with the tragic loss of Guy and both families are united in supporting Lulu (Lucille) and Louis.
"The families would appreciate privacy in dealing with their grief."
Media Update:
News media are reminded that this matter is now before the Courts and police are unable to comment further on the investigation.
A post-mortem examination on the deceased was completed this afternoon.
The forensic crime scene examination is expected to be completed late this afternoon.
Media are asked to respect the request for privacy from the families.
