Baby search ends happily

1 min read

Missing five week-old baby Sean Clifton-Grant was brought into the Henderson Police Station at about 4.45pm today - safe and well and in the company of the woman who had been taking care of him for the past few days, Cindy Knox.

The Police Specialist Search Team was about to convene at the New Lyn bus depot when the infant and Cindy Knox arrived at the station.

Police are currently speaking with Sean's parents and Cindy Knox about the child's care and protection arrangements and have advised Child Youth and Family Services of the situation.

Publicity this afternoon about the missing child prompted a person who knew where Cindy Knox was to contact her and encourage her to come into the Police station.
