Port Levy inquiry- body brought to Christchurch for post mortem

The body of the deceased man at Port Levy was brought back to Christchurch for the post mortem at 3pm this afternoon. The post mortem will take place late this afternoon/ evening.

Detective Senior Sergeant John Rae says that there will be no name release of the deceased at this time.

Police will remain at the Port Levy house all day tomorrow to complete the scene examination. The road which has been closed should be reopened tomorrow morning.
