1 min read

Wellington Police have concerns for the wellbeing of 41-year-old local man Marcus Bruce McCallan who also uses the name Ashley Michelle Stewart.

Detective Sergeant Glenn Williams, Wellington CIB, said Mr McCallan has some health problems.

Mr McCallan works as a casual delivery person and contacted work colleagues by text message on Sunday night, 22 June. He mentioned some health issues and indicated he would not be returning to work.

"His colleagues were concerned by the text and when he failed to turn up to work on Monday and Tuesday, reported him missing to police," Detective Sergeant Williams said. "He's lived at a variety of places in Vogeltown, Newtown and Petone, has family in the central North Island and also has some contacts in Christchurch.

"He hasn't been seen since 16 June and the last contact was the text to work colleagues on 22 June. Family and friends are concerned about him," Detective Sergeant Williams said.

Mr McCallan is 166cm tall, medium build, and has long strawberry blonde thinning hair. He often wears women's clothing.

Anyone who has seen or heard from him is asked to contact Wellington Police on 04 381 2000 and ask for the Duty CIB Squad.
