Police are investigating a burglary that occurred at a Kaiapoi business during the early hours of last Friday morning, 26 September 2008. It was on Williams Street between Raven Quay and Hilton Street.
Stolen in the burglary were 14 items of expensive "Moorcroft" pottery. This exclusive, imported pottery is distinctive with its bright coloured glazes, and depicted floral images.
They range in height from 10 cm to 30 cm.
At the time of this offence motorists or pedestrians using the area may have witnessed suspicious activity. Police in Kaiapoi would like to hear from anyone who may have any information that could assist their enquiries.
