Alleged sexual assault

1 min read

A young woman was allegedly sexually assaulted as she looked for a friend in a city car park two weeks ago.

The 19 year old woman was in the car park next to Christchurch Central police station in the early hours of Saturday 11 October when she was approached by a male and pushed against a car and allegedly sexually assaulted.

The male is described as Caucasian, mid twenties, with bright orange hair. The car was a white four door, square shaped vehicle. It was remarked that it had 'silver wheel rims that looked out of place'.

Anyone with any information or who can identify the car or male is asked to contact Detective Constable Belinda Campbell, phone 3637 964
