Korean Teenager Located Safe & Well

A Korean international student who was reported missing on Friday has been located safe and well.

Sooji HWANG, a female aged 14 years, became the subject of a search by police on the North Shore after she disappeared at about 8.00am in morning.

She eventually returned to her Browns Bay host family late on Friday night.

North Shore Police Youth Aid officers will be talking with the Intermediate school student to determine the reasons why she went missing.

Police express their thanks to all sectors of the media and the Korean community for their valuable assistance in helping to locate the teenager.
