1 min read

Masterton Police are asking for help in finding missing 13-year-old Sharmayne Carrington

Sharmayne is originally from Masterton but has recently been living in Waitara, Taranaki, and attending school in Inglewood. She was seen at school last Friday, 5 December, but hasn't been in contact with family since then.

Senior Sergeant Warwick Burr, Masterton Police, says Sharmayne looks older than her 13 years, and often described as having the appearance of an 18-year-old.

She's European, approximately 170cm tall, is of medium build and has dark hair.

It is thought she is likely to still be in the Waitara - wider Taranaki area, but it's possible she may be travel to other family members in Masterton.

Police are urging Sharmayne to call her parents or police. If anyone has had contact with Sharmayne or knows where she is then please contact police.
