Another Vehicle Occupant Arrested

1 min read

A 19 year old, unemployed female, of Papatoetoe, has been arrested as enquiries continue into an incident in Takapuna in which a stolen vehicle struck and injured a male Police Officer. The speeding vehicle did not stop.

Police have established that a second female offender was an occupant of the vehicle while it was engaged in a police pursuit to suburban Beachhaven.

The woman is not Linda Cherie Phillips, whom Police are still searching for.

The woman's identity has only just been positively established by Police which is why she was not recently named as being an associate of Heta or Phillips.

The female has been charged with unlawfully getting into a motor vehicle. She's on bail to appear in North Shore District Court on Monday 6 April 2009.

Linda Cherie Phillips is wanted on warrant. She continues to elude police. Anyone with information as to her whereabouts is urged to contact the North Shore CIB on 09 477 5000 or text the confidential crime line on 027 27 27 669.
