ANZAC trading.

1 min read

The District Licensing Agency, New Zealand Police and Canterbury District Health Board remind the public that licensed premises will be closed for trading from midnight Friday 24th April until 1pm on Saturday 25th April.

This restriction on alcohol sales is a show of respect for the returned servicemen and women on ANZAC day.

"We see this as an opportunity for people to find an alternative non-alcoholic means of entertainment," says the combined agencies group.

The Royal New Zealand Returned and Services' Association, especially, would like to thank the businesses and the public for showing their respect on this special day.
