Second Man Charged In Murder Enquiry

North Shore CIB advise that a second person has been arrested as a result of their investigations into the killing of Paul CHONG in Glenfield.

Detective Senior Sergeant Kim LIBBY says a squad of detectives went to an Avondale address late yesterday afternoon where they located a male hiding in a house.

The 21 year old man was being sought by police and was arrested on warrant. He will appear in the North Shore District Court this morning."

"The man has been charged with Accessory after the fact to murder, Offering to supply Class A drug, and receiving a motor vehicle."

A 27 year old unemployed Waterview man has already appeared in the North Shore District Court charged with the murder of Paul CHONG.

He's been remanded in custody without plea until 20 May 2009.

"A 1989 -1993, white, Subaru Legacy saloon, has not yet been found. Anyone who knows of the whereabouts of this vehicle is asked to call Police on 09 477 5000," Detective Senior Sergeant LIBBY said.
