Dunedin Police Make Arrests in Relation to Campervan Attack

1 min read

Dunedin Police have made three arrests in relation to the attack on an elderly couple camping in the Warrington Domain in the early hours of Saturday 16 May.

"Three local males, two aged 17 and another aged 20, have been charged with criminal damage. They are due to appear in the Dunedin District Court next week," Sergeant Sheldon Kindley said.

Further arrests are likely, he said.

"These arrests have come about after two weeks of investigation, involving the identification and interview of a large number of people."

While police had received additional information over recent days, they were still keen to hear from eye witnesses who were present at the scene, he said.
