Attribute to Detective Sergeant Andre Kavanagh
Hamilton Police are investigating an alleged assault that occurred early this morning on the outskirts of town.
A 33-year-old woman has received serious facial injuries and Police are working to determine how she was injured.
The victim is currently undergoing medical treatment at Waikato Hospital.
Police would like to speak with anyone who may have been travelling on State Highway 26 between 11pm on Friday (06 July) and 3am Saturday (07 July) who may have seen a man and woman on the roadside near Eureka.
