Police are appealing for witnesses after the fatal crash yesterday evening, Friday 3 August, on State Highway 2, Maramarua.
A 49-year-old man was hit by a truck around 7:20pm and died at the scene.
Police have spoken to the truck driver however we are appealing to the public for more information to assist with the investigation into the crash.
Anyone who was in the area and saw a pedestrian or cyclist on the side of State Highway 2, Maramarua, yesterday evening around 7pm should contact Hamilton Police on (07) 858 6200 .
