1 min read

A 17-year-old Manawatü man will appear in the Palmerston North District Court later this week charged in relation to the aggravated robbery of Bulls Mobil Mart, on 6 September, 2014.

Detective Mathew Akuhata of the Manawatü CIB says the arrest came as a result of vigilant members of the public watching the Police Ten 7 programme.

"Several members of the public contacted us after seeing the case and the CCTV images on the Police Ten 7 programme. Their invaluable information led to the identification and arrest of the man."

I want to take this opportunity to thank them as well as other members of the public who contacted us with information."

The man was arrested last Friday (3 October, 2014) a week after the case screened. He will appear in Court on Thursday 9 October, 2014.
