Police are appealing for information following an aggravated robbery in Palmerston North.

Three men armed with blunt weapons went to an address on Tyne Street at about 9:30pm on Sunday 30 October 2016.

Property was stolen during the incident.

Three occupants of the dwelling were present at the time, as were two visitors.

After being threatened, a number of items were taken – including wallets and cellphones, a Playstation 4 console, electric guitar, TV set, and two laptop computers.

All three offenders were described as being Pacific Islanders or Maori, and all were wearing dark clothing and had their heads and faces partially concealed with motorcycling masks, or bandannas.

One of them had facial tattoos appearing to be spiral patterns on each cheek.

The offenders threatened to return if the Police were called.

One of the victims, who was struck with a bat, was treated at Palmerston North Hospital the evening of the attack, and was later released.

Police would like to hear from anyone who may have information about this matter. They can contact Sergeant Mike Deegan on 06 351 3600.

Alternatively, details can be passed to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
