Seven people arrested after an incident of disorder in Opotiki this morning now face court.
Three local men aged, 24, 26 and 31 are being held in custody jointly charged with wounding with intent to cause GBH. Two other men have been charged and bailed for possession of an offensive weapon and a man and a woman have been charged and bailed for disorderly behaviour.
A man remains in hospital with leg and arm injuries.
