Police can advise that the man arrested in relation to today's triple stabbing on Auckland's North Shore has been charged.
The 45 year-old has been charged with the following;
1 x murder
2 x attempted murder
He will appear in the North Shore District Court tomorrow morning after 9.30am.
The Welman family have asked that media respect their privacy at this time. They have had a number of approaches by media asking for comment and advise that they do not wish to make any comment to anyone at this stage.
As the case is now before the courts Police will not be making any further comment.
