Christchurch police investigating aggravated robbery (including CCTV photos)

Christchurch Police are investigating the aggravated robbery of a Caltex service station on Main North Road, Redwood overnight.   Five offenders entered the service station shortly after midnight and demanded cash and cigarettes.   Two offenders were armed – one with a crowbar, and one with a tomahawk – but fortunately nobody was seriously injured in the incident.   The attached images show the offenders and the car used, which was later found abandoned.    At least three of the offenders were wearing “Starter” caps with the silver sticker label on the peak.    If you have any information which could assist Police in identifying and locating these offenders, please call Christchurch Police on 03 363 7400.   Information can also be provided anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.   ENDS   Issued by Police Media Centre.
