Christchurch Police investigating armed robbery

Police are investigating an armed robbery which occurred at the Union Street Dairy at 185 Union Street, Christchurch at about 6:40pm on Thursday 7 July. 

The male offender walked into the dairy with his face covered carrying a firearm.

The male threatened staff with the firearm and demanded money and cigarettes.

The offender was last seen heading north on Union Street towards Tovey Street.
