Cigarette Burglary Invercargill

At approximately 3.50am on Sunday the 14th June 2015 the premises of Mobil Waikiwi Service Station in Invercargill was broken into.

The offender jemmied open a door and entered the shop stealing approximately $3000 worth of tobacco and cigarettes.  The cigarettes were JPS brand and the tobacco was a combination of 30, 40 and 50 grams packets of Holiday, JPS, Winfield, Port Royal and Riverstone.

The offender was of solid build and was wearing a red bandana over his face.  He was wearing a distinctive dark coloured sweatshirt with white loops/cords on the upper chest area and white crosses on both elbows.

Anyone with any information about these incidents or information regarding cigarettes or tobacco of this type being offered for sale should contact the Invercargill Police Station on 03 211 0400.
