Concerns for safety of Leni Namono

Police have concerns for the safety of 48 year-old Leni Namono who discharged himself from Middlemore Hospital this morning.

Mr Namono was admitted to hopsital last night due to a head injury which has caused bleeding to his brain.

Medical staff and Police are concerned that his injury may be life-threatening if he doesn’t receive the required medical attention.

Police are actively searching for Mr Namono and are seeking the public’s help in locating him.

He is described as Pacific Islander and of solid build.

Anyone who sees Mr Namono should call 111 immediately.

It is believed he may have been at an address on Moa Street in Otahuhu last night before he arrived at the hospital.

Police ask anyone with information on Mr Namono’s whereabouts to please call police or report anonymously on Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
