Orewa Police are continuing to investigate an alleged assault on a woman, who was found with serious head injuries on the side of a road in Dome Valley over a week ago.

While three arrests have been made by the investigation team, enquiries into the alleged incident are on-going.

Police are now seeking sightings from the public of an older style blue van that was parked up on Waiwhiu Conical Peak Road, Dome Valley between 8 and 11pm on Sunday 8 May 2016 (Mother’s Day).

We are also seeking anyone who was stopped or parked at the lookout at the top of Dome Valley (near the café) during the same time period.

Anyone with information that can assist the investigation team is asked to contact Detective Senior Sergeant Kim Libby on 09 426 4555. Alternatively, you can contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
