Dunedin Police Launch Homicide Investigation

Police received an emergency call at approximately 9.55pm last evening (15 January) after neighbours reported gunshots coming from a residential address in the suburb of St Leonards.

The Armed Offenders Squad was deployed and in clearing the house discovered the bodies of three people, one male adult and two children.

The scene has been cordoned and contained and Police have launched a homicide investigation.

At this stage Police are not looking for anyone further in relation to this incident.
