1 min read

Hastings Police are urging Police Ten 7 viewers to come forward with information about an aggravated robbery at the Gull Service Station on Omahu road which features on Thursday’s programme.

On Friday 12 May 2017 at about 1.30am, a man armed with a firearm entered the service station and demanded cash and tobacco from the attendant.

He then fled the scene and got into a two door coupe car, believed to either be blue or green in colour and similar to a Toyota Levin, Toyota Curren or a Mazda Unos.

The driver of the car was a woman, described as being mid-20s, Maori, with long dark hair.

Detective Constable Damon Horrocks is appealing to the public to come forward with any information they have about this incident, no matter how small it might be.

“We would like to hear from anyone who may have seen something suspicious in the area around this time or who knows the people responsible.”

Watch Police Ten 7, 7.30pm, TVNZ 2 on Thursday night, 21 September.

The programme is repeated on TVNZ Plus 1 and the Gull Service Station case will be on Police Ten 7 Facebook once the programme has screened.
